Team Leader or Team Supervisor
LANDSCAPING CONSTRUCTION

What we are looking for:

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Business intelligence
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds several times during a whole shift (a real work-out, almost no need to go to the gym!)

A day at Pro-Design looks like:

• Manage the execution of the construction projects, plan labor and equipment requirements, as well as material deliveries
• Manage site safety, quality and productivity
• Supervise, coordinate and plan the daily work activities of a construction team of 2-5 employees
• Conduct on-site orientation with new employees that covers all the company health and safety policies, practices and procedures
• Operate various tools and equipment including: heavy equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measuring equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by performing inspections, lubrication and cleaning on a daily basis
• Read and interpret plans, structural drawings and specifications to delegate / complete work activities
• Complete and submit documents required daily to ensure proper on-site operations
• Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in trucks, trailers and all equipment
• Apply and work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations in the workshop/yard and on construction sites

What we expect from you:

• Professional Degree in Landscaping OR relevant training and experience
• Able to use required equipment and tools safely and responsibly
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to carry out various landscape/construction practices
• Transport and use a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting

The benefits you will have access to:

• Annual salary between $40,000.00 and $60,000.00
